Pitching is Good, but it Could be Great

Greg Maddux is off to the best start of his career but losing first-baseman Derrek Lee has hurt the Chicago Cubs more than I thought it would have. Things might look up when the Cubs play the Washington Nationals next week because we may see the return of Kerry Wood, who was the 1998 National League Rookie of the Year. With Maddux and Wood on the roster we might see some big wins for the team. We really need them right now.
