Have you seen this ad for Chevy?
I have to admit, it makes me laugh every time. It's like if my grandpa was trying to rap.

One time it's good to be punked...
Okay, so this isn't about the Cubs, but this prank played on Philles pitcher Kyle Kendrick is absolutely priceless.

Chicago Cubs giving something to cheer about
Okay, I admit it. I'd almost written off Jacque Jones as being any good to the Cubs. But did you see him Friday? Holy smokes! He finally earned his salary, if nothing else. What a season this has been...

When will Piniella learn?
Seriously? Piniella goes AGAIN with Scott Eyre in the 11th inning? With an ERA now of 8.16 this year, how long will it take before we find someone who can perform? I'm just sitting back and waiting for my Chicago Cubs to resurface.

Go Cubs!
Your not going to hear Piniella complaining about the Cubs performance against the Milwaukee Brewers. Way to go Jay Fox! If the Cubs keep playing that kind of baseball all season I want tickets!

Looking to Make a Change
The Chicago Cubs are coming off their worst season, 66-96, since 2002 when they went 67-95, and they realize that they had to make some changes. They got rid of Dusty Baker and signed Lou Piniella, and beefed up their bats with the signing of Alfonso Soriano to an eight year deal. And during the winter meetings general manager Jim Hendry finalized a 4-year $40 million deal with left handed pitcher Ted Lilly from the hospital after Hendry had an angioplasty. Talk about getting the job done no matter what.
